Sharp EL-506R
Though it may not appear programmable on first inspection, the EL-506R calculator has two formula memories, capable of storing formulae up to 80 characters in length each.
I received this calculator as a gift recently from Yitzchak Gottlieb; thank you! The calculator suffered from the dreaded "heat seal" problem that affects so many vintage LCD devices, resulting in missing segments and a generally malfunctioning, unreadable display. Fortunately, this time it proved repairable. For now anyway, the calculator is again functional.
The following example demonstrates using the Gamma function the formula programming model of this calculator:
ANSlnANS-ANS+ln(2π÷ANS)÷2+ ((((1188-1/ANS2-1680-1)÷ANS2+1260-1)÷ANS2-360-1)÷ANS2+12-1)÷ANS
